Research survey invitation – Teacher perspectives on engaging assessment data in music education

Research plays an important role in shaping and supporting our practice. In support of evidence-based education, I encourage all members to consider investigating a curiosity inspired by their own Kodaly-inspired practice and contribute to the advancement of new knowledge.

One of our members, Kathleen Plastow (Perth), is currently collecting data as part of her Doctor of Education studies at the Australian Catholic University. You are invited to complete a 30-minute survey which seeks to investigate teacher perspectives on engaging with assessment data in music education. Kathleen is looking for participants from around the country. Please Click Here to complete the survey. For further information about the research project, including ethical clearance, please contact Kathleen directly kathleen.plastow@myacu.edu.au

KMEIA is interested in supporting other significant Australian research projects in music education. Please do not hesitate to contact me if we can be of assistance.

Best wishes
