Do you often find yourself leaving the planning or implementation of assessment tasks until the last minute? The committee of Kodály ACT are offering a virtual workshop focused on useful and authentic assessment in the primary and lower secondary music program.
Members of the Kodály ACT Committee will present this two-hour, TQI Accredited, online workshop focusing on songs, rhymes, games and action to engage preschool-aged children in Music.

Join us for an engaging and joyful Early Years Music ‘Playshop.’ Highly regarded ACT music educator Emma Zen will lead us through a range of activities for Preschool to Year Two including Percussion Parade, multicultural music, transition songs and music and movement ideas.
This workshop is aimed at planning and teaching engaging music lessons utilising Version 9 of the Australian National Curriculum. With plenty of practical examples, our wonderful ACT committee will guide you through the four interrelated strands of the Music curriculum.
Presented by Katherine Finlayson, Kodaly ACT Vice-President, and Claire Halse, this workshop will explore a range of repertoire and teaching strategies to support singers of all ages while fostering a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment.
