Kodály NSW is pleased to announce dates for the  Australian Kodály Certificate to be held in NSW in 2025.

Scholarships in memory of Margaret Smith, will be offered in the following categories:

• 1 full Scholarship (value $1600) for a Music Educator working in either Regional or Rural NSW (outside Sydney metropolitan area)
• 1 full Scholarship (value $800) for a Tertiary student
• 2 half Scholarships (value $800 each) for Music Educators working anywhere in NSW

The Autumn and Winter school will be followed by a Choral Weekend later in the Year (dates below).

Subjects include Methodology, Materials, Practicum, Musicianship, and *Conducting (*EC2 students to complete a Research Project in lieu of Conducting)

Venue: TBC

Autumn School: Monday 14th – Thursday 17th April (inclusive)

Winter School: Monday 7th – Thursday 10th July (inclusive)

Choral Weekend: Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th August 

Time: 8:30 – 4:30 pm daily

Please note: all 10 days are required to complete 1 Level of the Australian Kodály Certificate.

• Primary Level 1 
• Primary Level 2 (pre-requisite: Primary Level 1) 
• Primary Level 3  (pre-requisite primary Level 2)
• Secondary 1

  • AUDIT (observation only – no assessment) STANDARD (payment must be received by 7/4/25) – $1550
