Catering for both primary and secondary music teachers, participants will uncover the tools, repertoire and strategies required for teaching a sequential, developmental and aural-based Kodály program in your school.

In 2013, we welcome outstanding Australian composer and educator Tim Sherlock (QLD) who will present sessions for secondary teachers. The primary sessions will be led by WA Kodály practitioners Jason Boron (WA) and Jeanette Teh (WA).

Sessions will include songs, games and teaching strategies used to develop students’ listening, music literacy and aural skills. Presenters will also discuss lesson planning and assessment based on their own professional experience. Do not miss this opportunity to advance your understanding of Kodály methodology!

Registration includes a delicious lunch, morning and afternoon tea.
