WA Kodály Community Choir
1 August 2016 - 12 September 2016
The WA Kodály Community Choir exists for community members to experience the joy of group music making. This choir provides a safe and supportive environment for you to learn to read music, develop your vocal technique and equip you to appreciate music at a deeper level.
For music teachers, the Choir provides an opportunity to participate and observe an experienced practitioner taking a choir from a Kodály approach. Our conductors have all completed the Australian Kodály Certificate and are experienced choral directors.
The choir operates seasonally. Season 2 will consist of 6 rehearsals and a final concert, with singers able to commit to one season, or the whole year. Each season provides a chance for the choir to explore new repertoire, and a fresh opportunity for new members to join. The choir is open to all ages 16 and up.
