As the end of this year is drawing closer, we wanted to send you a final update on the National Conference.
We also want to take to opportunity to wish you all a warm, joyful and peaceful Christmas and New Year, and we’ll see you in 2018!
Call for Presenters Closes Soon!
The final date for submitting your application to present a Paper, Poster or Workshop at the Conference is coming soon. Next Wednesday, the 13th December will be the last day that you can submit.
So if you haven’t already done so, go online to the National Conference 2018 website and apply to present, there’s even an online form that you can fill in and we’ll have your submission as soon as you press the “Submit” button.
Presenting at the National Conference is a wonderful way of sharing all your experience, knowledge and talents!
Successful applicants will be notified no later than Wednesday 28th February 2018.
National Conference International Presenters
All of our National Conference International Presenters are now up on the website, so we invite you to read about them and get to know them a little.
Dr. David Elliott is Professor of Music and Music Education and Director of Doctoral Studies in Music Education at New York University. Prior to joining NYU in 2002, he was Professor and Director of Music Education for twenty-eight years at the University of Toronto.
Maree Hennessy, Director, Kodály Center, Holy Names University. Maree has recently relocated from Australia to Oakland, California, to oversee the renowned Masters in Music Education (Kodály) program at Holy Names.
Borbála Szirányi graduated in music education and choral conducting at the Liszt Academy of Music in 1997. In her final academic year she participated in Prof. Peter Erdei’s conducting master course in Oxford.
