SUMMARY:NSW: Early Childhood Workshops - Sydney and Newcastle areas
DESCRIPTION:KMEIA NSW has experienced presenters available for Music Workshops in your Centre: tailor made to meet your Centre needs\, these workshops provide the opportunity to develop repertoire and an understanding of the importance of Musical Play throughout the child’s day. \nWORKSHOPS:  Contact us today if you would like a single workshop\, or workshop series\, at your Centre: workshops from 1.5 hours available in consultation with organisers – time of day is also negotiable. \n\nBIRTH to 3 YEARS\n3 – 5 YEARS\nBIRTH to 5 YEARS\n\nWhy singing? Everyone has a voice\, and learning to use the voice in songs and rhymes means music and its benefits are accessible to everyone\, without the demands of learning an instrument. Singing develops an inner musicality – hearing the sound inside yourself before you sing it.   \nThe value of games: Music is both memorable and meaningful as children have fun singing the songs\, and playing the games.  Games promote equity\, and provide an opportunity for both group and solo turns in a supportive atmosphere.  Through games\, children learn happily and unconsciously in a relaxed environment.   The repetition inherent in the process makes for an ideal learning environment. \nPlease email Jill Holland and Rose Bloom at musicalmomentsnow@gmail.com or phone us to discuss your needs: \nJill Holland: 9484 7226 \nRose Bloom: 0431 213 056
